Today I got a letter from Edinburgh University along with a cheque for £15. This was for a synaesthesia-related personality questionnaire and a battery of tests which I did online. I knew that my brain was unusual, but until recently I didn’t think it could earn me money! As for the personality questionnaire, apparently I am conscientious and agreeable, neither introverted nor extroverted, and emotionally stable.

After lip reading class I visited Grandpa with a shiny new bright-blue helium balloon. He likes helium balloons. When I arrived at the home, he was curled on his bed in a foetal position, sound asleep, with a little clear green, yellow and soft, glowy white over him. I left his balloon and let him sleep.
